About Me:
Hi! My name is Grace Ha and I am a current student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) pursuing a BFA in Film, Video, New Media, and Animation. As of right now, I am looking for hands-on animation, visual development, and character design experience.
Visual development and character design appeal to me because I enjoy the process of reflection and research that both entail. Discovering the larger cultural context and intricacies of a world or character, and using that knowledge to inform what the world or character looks like brings me immense satisfaction.
I have had many experiences working and adapting with people on personal and academic projects under a completion deadline, and I am very comfortable interacting with students, fellow artists, professors, and supervisors.
I primarily specializes in character design, and have attended workshops that teach character design. I work in 2D, have extensive experience on Procreate and some experience with Photoshop.
